Throughout your journey you will pass through a vibrant green valley with the impressive Ausangate mountain towering in the distance. You will experience first-hand how locals live in the mountains and even have a chance to speak with them. As you get closer to the Rainbow Mountain you will begin to see the first signs of the colored minerals that formed the painted hills. Your guide will explain what makes up the existence of the Rainbow Mountain tour, and finally with one last push you will hike up to a vantage point that gives you a 360-degree view of the beautiful landscape that makes up the sacred land.
Rainbow Mountain tour Itinerary
On this day our team will pass to pick you up to your Hotel at 4:00 hours will begin the trip to Rainbow Mountain we will start the tour for 3 hours in a tourist transport, on arrival in Cusipata you will enjoy an energy and hot breakfast before starting the walk to the Rainbow Mountain, the walk will begin for 01 hour approximately by an easy way, the whole round trip will be around 3 hours. (Depending on the level of physical condition.) At the top you will have a well-deserved rest and you can also enjoy a fabulous view of the Rainbow mountain. After a few hours we will return to the starting point of the hike to take the vehicle back to the beginning. of the trekking, (approximately 01 hour), after arriving at the starting point of the trek you will have an exquisite lunch prepared by our chef, afterward we will return to Cusco approximated at 19:00 hours.

Weather in the Andes can be unpredictable. Please be prepared with warm clothes (down jacket, fleece hat, gloves, scarf and wind breaker), sun screen, atleast 2 liters of water (per person) a hat to keep the sun off, sunglasses, and your camera!
The hike to the rainbow mountain is a challenging day of hiking. It will take a full day to complete and you are constantly at a high elevation (above 14,500ft/ 4500 meters). Make sure you are rested up to start this journey. We recommend at least 2 days in Cusco or similar elevation to acclimatize. Remember to drink plenty of water the day prior to the hike
